Information of Library Renovation Closure and Services during the Closure

 

From end of semester, Library will be closing for renovation work. Library service will be provided as below.

  1. Library Closure
    1. Jan 4(Mon), 2021 ~ Feb 28(Sun), 2021. Library staffs will be on duty as usual.
  2. Library Access and Services
    1. Library Access
      1. Only staffs and visitors for business will be aloud.
      2. 1F Gate will be open from 08:00 to 19:00 weekdays. (Closed in weekends & holidays)
      3. 5F gate and security desk will be open 24hours.
      4. Graduate students who needs to turn in thesis for Feb 2021 graduation, can enter during submission period (more information)
      5. For Librarian services, contact by library@postech.ac.kr.

① Request → Library homepage: Request from search

② Pickup → Pickup from 5F security desk

③ Return → 5F security desk or Book drop box (Jigok community center)

* Loan can be canceled if not picked up within 7days

Document Delivery/Interlibrary Loan

· Rapid ILL
(Free international article delivery service)

· Charged Document Delivery / Interlibrary Loan (for Books, Korean Journals and thesis)

· 2021.1~ New service ( More Information )

· Request → Same as before
  Pickup → Internal mail or pickup from 5F security desk

○ Loan Request

   - How to: From library homepage search, click the book to check out and 'Reqeust' 

   - Same as how to request a book that had been check out: temporarily available to request a book that has not been check out, too

   - Requested book will be booked and placed at 5F security. Person who requested could pick up and check out by self checkout machine(Updated. Jan 6.).
